Fun and Fundraising: A Successful Day for Warboys Parish Council
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the May Day Fete on the 6th of May. What a wonderful event it was, made even better by the beautiful weather! It was fantastic to see so many faces come by our stall to enjoy games like Hook a Duck, Cornhole, and Splat the Rat. Your enthusiasm and support truly made the day special.
We’re thrilled to announce that thanks to your participation, we managed to raise almost £180! These funds will go directly towards the internal fittings of the new parish centre (NPC). Every penny raised brings us one step closer to creating a space that will benefit our entire community. Your generosity and willingness to get involved truly make a difference.
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to connect with residents and share information about the parish centre construction. Many of you were keen to see the plans we had on display, and it was wonderful to discuss the vision for our new community space. Your feedback and support are invaluable as we work towards making the NPC a reality.
Our three Clerks thoroughly enjoyed the chance to get out and about in the community. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with so many of you, and we hope you enjoyed seeing us too. Events like the May Day Fete remind us of the importance of coming together as a community and enjoying time outdoors.
As we move forward with the NPC project, we’ll continue to keep you updated on our progress. The success of our stall at the May Day Fete is just one example of what we can achieve when we work together as a community. We’re excited about the future and the positive impact the our new centre will have on our community.
