Join the Warboys Community Speed Watch Team!
Warboys Parish Council is looking for a dedicated volunteer to take on the important role of Speed Watch Organiser. This key position supports the Community Speed Watch initiative, a program aimed at improving road safety in our village by monitoring speeding vehicles.
As the Speed Watch Organiser, you’ll play a vital role in helping reduce road traffic incidents, educate drivers, and create a safer environment for everyone. The role involves:
- Coordinating the local Speed Watch team.
- Liaising with the Parish Council and police.
- Organising sessions to monitor vehicle speeds in key areas.
- Maintaining and managing Speed Watch equipment.
Training will be provided to help you get started, so no prior experience is necessary—just a commitment to promoting road safety in the community.
How to Get Involved:
If you’re interested in this important role and would like to make a positive impact on our village’s road safety, please contact the clerks at clerk@warboysparishcouncil.co.uk or 07985 771 676 by 11th April 2025.
Help us keep Warboys safe! Together, we can make a real difference in improving road safety and promoting awareness of the dangers of speeding.
