Successful Warboys Feast Week Sunday Market Highlights Community Spirit

The Warboys Parish Council is delighted to announce that the Sunday Market, held as part of the Warboys Feast Week celebrations, was a tremendous success. The Parish Council’s stall raised over £200, which will go towards the internal fittings at the new community centre. The stall featured a variety of fun activities, including “Play Your Cards Right,” “Hook a Duck,” and a bottle raffle, all of which contributed to the fundraising effort.

The weather was sunny and warm, encouraging a great turnout from the community. It was wonderful to see so many residents enjoying the festivities, as well as some special guests. Among the highlights was a visit from our new local MP, Ben Obese-Jecty, who took the time to meet and greet attendees. The market also featured a lively performance from a group of talented Morris dancers, adding a traditional touch to the day’s celebrations.

A special thank you goes out to the Warboys Community Association for their excellent organisation of the event. Their hard work and dedication ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

We’re grateful for the community’s support and look forward to more events that bring us together and benefit our local projects. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the day!
